Toyota recalls more models

Toyota has announced it will recall some vehicles due to faulty wiring.

About 82,200 hybrid SUVs in the US will be called in over the next weeks to have computer boards fixed.

The vehicle models are from the Highlander and Lexus brand hybrid SUV lines from 2006 and 2007.

The action, which has been put down to inadequate soldering will only cover vehicles sold in the US
Toyota was just recovering from the earthquake and tsunami disasters in Japan.

Predicted annual profit has been tipped to fall nearly a third due to recent production disruptions brought on by the twin Japanese disasters.
