Japanese automobile major Honda's Indian subsidiary Friday reported a decline of 24.80 percent in its sales for June, which stood at 3,455 units as against 4,595 units in June 2010.

'We have been working with production constraints for the last few months. However, recovery efforts are going on to increasingly meet the demand,' said Jnaneswar Sen, senior vice president, sales and marketing, Honda Siel Cars India.

The company also said that June sales were 48 percent higher than those of May, when the company sold 2,334 units.
