Dubai airport’s capacity has increased to 50 million passengers, according to Gulf News.

He said the airport would probably have to take more than 50 million passengers this year, due to their being another 22 new routes started by airlines.

He said the new routes had been opened by airline companies that only began operating from the airport last year, including Indonesian airline Garuda, Air Berlin, Kingfisher and China Eastern.
