New Zealand boy dies after fall into geothermal pool

A boy has died in new Zealand after falling into an almost boiling geothermal pool.

The boy was badly burned when he fell into the pool at Kuirau Park in Rotorua on New Zealand's North Island.

He was screaming as he was pulled from the pool by a bystander.

He died shortly after being flown to a hospital in Auckland.

Park officials have said the temperature in the pools can reach 100 degrees Celsius.
