New Holland to double manufacturing capacity

Agriculture equipment manufacturer New Holland Fiat (India) Thursday said it will invest an undisclosed amount on doubling its tractor manufacturing capacity at its Greater Noida plant over the next two years.

'Over the next two years we will invest in doubling this facility's production, expanding our product offering and strengthening our dealer network,' said Stefano Pampalone, managing director, as the 150,000th tractor rolled off the line at its facility.

The company also launched a special range of 55 horse power (HP) tractor 3630TX plus.

The tractor is said to be equipped with features such as power steering, Roll Over Protection Structures (ROPS) canopy as standard fitment, Lift-O-Matic rear linkage control and a mobile charging point.

According to the company, its expansion plans include scaling up production, enhancing product portfolio also includes strengthening of its 400 dealership in the country.
