Infosys back office wins Asia award for branding

The business process outsourcing (BPO) subsidiary of Infosys Technologies won the CMO (chief marketing officer) Asia award 2010 for excellence in branding and marketing, the IT bellwether said Thursday.
'Our back office operations (BPO) has been selected for the award for excellence in driving thought leadership and showcasing a strong relationship with analysts, media and other key influencers,' Purnima Menon, Infosys BPO marketing head, said in a statement here.
CMO Asia Awards are given in partnership with the CMO council and hosted by the World Brand Congress in recognition of branding, client and employee level communication initiatives.
Infosys BPO was selected out of 150 participating companies from across Asia.
'Our focus is to help clients add value by enhancing efficiencies, end-customer experience, cost competitiveness and return on investments,' Menon said.
The company's initiatives are focussed on creating a differentiation in the market place, by driving thought leadership and supporting the sales engine.
