NFL marketing campaign ramps up

The NFL marketing division in New York has announced there are plans afoot to begin its regular season with a multi-million dollar "Back to Football" marketing campaign.

The regular season, which begins next week, will involve TV stations being peppered with ads to welcome people "Back to Football."

The campaign will run on NBC, CBS, FOX, ESPN, and the NFL Network.

The league has estimated that spending for the campaign will exceed $50 million from July through the season’s start in early September.
