5 missing after boat capsizes off Navi Mumbai

Five people -- three women and two minor children -- were missing after their boat capsized near Navi Mumbai Saturday, officials said.

The incident occurred Saturday evening in a small creek in the Navi Mumbai coastal area when the boat carrying seven people overturned.

While the local fisherfolk and villagers managed to save two persons, the other five were yet to be traced.

A hunt is on with the help of the local police and rescuers.

The identity of the victims and other details of the incident were not known yet.
