India, U.K. to take initiatives in economy, trade, energy, defence

India and United Kingdom on Thursday agreed to undertake specific initiatives in various areas including economy, trade, energy, and defence.
Terming his discussions with the British Prime Minister David Cameron as wide-ranging, warm and extremely productive, Dr. Manmohan Singh in a joint press meet said: " We share the same vision for a renewed and enhanced partnership between our countries. To this end we have agreed on specific initiatives in the areas of economy and trade, science and technology, energy, education, defence, culture and people to people contacts." (ANI)
