Radar crashes at Delhi airport, flights hit

The radar systems responsible for guiding aircraft landings and take-offs crashed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport here Wednesday, leading to disruption of flights.
'Some radars of the Air Traffic Control (ATC) experienced technical problems in the afternoon which forced disruption in operations of the airport,' said an ATC official.
The disruption led to the grounding of numerous aircraft and flight operations were put on hold at all runways.
