Delta Air Lines took most in baggage fees

Delta Air Lines is still the highest fee taker in regards to baggage fees and other ancillary revenue.
A US Department of Transportation Bureau report has shown that in the first quarter of 2010 Atlanta-based Delta collected $217.8 million in baggage fees.
Its closest competition was American Airlines, which collected $128.5 million in first-quarter baggage fees.
The entire industry generated $768.5 million in baggage fees in the period.
During the first quarter, Delta collected $165.3 million in reservation fees and $592.1 million in ancillary revenue, both more than any other airline in the first quarter.
