Light rains may cool Delhi

After some sunny days, Delhi could see rains Saturday evening.

'We are expecting some thunder developments with light rain towards the evening. This could cool down temperatures,' the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The minimum temperature recorded Saturday morning was 15.4 degrees Celsius, around three notches above the average for this time of the year.

'The maximum is likely to hover around 31 degrees Celsius, while the minimum would be around 17 degrees Celsius,' an official said.

In the past week, Delhi has experienced warm sunny days. Temperatures have remained above average. On Friday, the maximum touched 28.9 degrees Celsius, two degrees above average.
