Calcutta News.Net
Wednesday 10th February, 2010

Online payment business, PayPal, has suspended some of its payment transactions in India.

PayPal management has informed users that personal payments to and from India and transfers to local banks in India have been suspended.

The company said the suspension had been decided on after business partners had signalled unspecified problems with the service.

For the moment, PayPal users will no longer be able to direct funds in rupees to local Indian banks.
