German firms are expressing more confidence in the economy.

A key index has shown German businesspeople believe the economy is now stabilising.

The Ifo index has climbed for the third month in a row to 85.9 in June from 84.2 in May.

Economists in Germany have warned the country is not yet out of the woods and needs more time to stabilise.

They have said the Eurozone's interest rates, which are being kept at 1%, should help.
