Calcutta News.Net Tuesday 23rd December, 2008
Microsoft has decided to extend the cutoff date for distribution of Windows XP software by four months.
But, from here on, the software will only be distributed to original equipment manufacturers.
Microsoft had originally planned to stop distributing Windows XP media to large manufacturers, such as Dell and Hewlett-Packard at the end of January.
Microsoft’s new Windows product, Windows 7, is due to be released in 2010. Email this story to a friend
