Reebok unveils winter collection

Leading sports gear and apparel major Reebok India Wednesday launched its 'Fall Winter-2008' collection at Ashoka Hotel here.
'We are introducing 'play gear' - trendy fitness collections comprising tennis dresses and training gear that is comfortable yet stylish,' Reebok India managing director Subhinder Singh Prem said.
The collection was showcased in a fashion show by leading models. International Tennis star Nicole Vaidisova and India's leading tennis player Sunitha Rao were also present on the occasion.
Speaking about her visit to India, the 19-year-old Nicole, who has six singles titles under her belt, said: 'I am really thrilled to be in India for Reebok. It is a brand that I endorse and Reebok's gear keeps me comfortable during long practice hours.'
Reebok India has been on an expansion spree with a vision of opening two stores every week. The company plans to expand to tier II and tier III towns through its franchisee model and add to its existing line of products.
'We have around 700 stores currently and will continue expanding. We plan to build Reebok's presence throughout India and maintain leadership position in this segment,' Prem added.
