OJ Simpson mostly-white jury thought he was guilty of murder
Calcutta News.Net Sunday 5th October, 2008
A poll has been taken amongst the jurors on the OJ Simpson armed robbery trial, with half saying they thought he was also guilty of killing his former wife.
Five of the 12 jurors disagreed with the 1995 verdict that cleared Simpson of the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman.
The other jurors claimed to be uncertain or would not respond to the question.
On Friday, the Las Vegas jury of three men and nine women convicted Simpson and his co-defendant Clarence Stewart of all charges stemming from a botched hotel room raid a year ago.
The jury contained 11 white people and one Hispanic.
The poll questions were made public by the court.

OJ Simpson mostly-white jury thought he was guilty of murder
I think he’s guilty in both cases. Finally justice will be served!! When you do wrong sooner or later you get exactly what you deserve.

Regardless of his guilt or innocence, it would have been difficult to find 12 impartial jurors in the US for this trial. Of course they have an opinion on his former trial. And in the US they can now make money on the “talk-show circuit” explaining exactly why they ruled the way they did. I expect they saw their chance to “right a wrong” and took it. Unfortunately now they have voiced their opinion on the murder trial, they have given his defense a valid argument against his conviction on this armed robbery charge. Yet again, he may be acquitted. Karma ? I think not ! Time will tell.

If i were the judge and jury
if i was d judge i would throw everybody in las vegas in jail including OJ , the police, the Jurors, judges and everybody else in the system just for being there.white black and yellow all would be incarcerated for life with no chance of parol.Life and a day would be the verdict.a follow up would be to throw everybody in L.A. behind bars next including all the celebrities and drug addicts who run the system and turn the wheel.Hollywood would be in lock down and i would revoke everybodys right to a fair trial just because they lived in or around las angeles a city of miscreant angels.OJ really opened my eyes to the judicial system and i am proud to be the best armchair judge in america. All Guilty!!!!! as charged.Abandon hope all ye who enter my courtroom.the price of your entry is sin.

Simpson jury: We didn’t need witnesses to convict
Oct 6, `08 - Jurors who convicted O.J. Simpson of armed robbery and kidnapping said Sunday that they did not trust witness testimony and instead relied on recordings and other documented evidence to convict the former football star.
]
It might have been a waste for prosecutors to give plea deals to several Simpson co-defendants in exchange for their testimony, since the jury did not rely on it, foreman Paul Connelly said. Seven members of the 12-person jury agreed to the extraordinary news conference two nights after the verdict was announced because they said they were being hounded by reporters. They answered questions for an hour in the same courtroom where Simpson and Clarence “C.J." Stewart were convicted of robbing two memorabilia dealers at gunpoint in a hotel room.
The jury listened repeatedly to recordings made by collectibles dealer Thomas Riccio - the host of the hotel confrontation, who was granted immunity - and felt they heard things that had not been fully transcribed by police, juror Michelle Lyons said. But jurors could not trust the credibility of witnesses who were given plea deals, Lyons said. “We felt we could not rely on that witness testimony," she said.
Simpson, 61, was famously acquitted in 1995 of murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman in Los Angeles. He was later found liable for the deaths in a civil case. He had claimed in the robbery case that he was trying to reclaim mementos stolen from him.
The jurors all denied they wanted to punish Simpson for past wrongs. One panelist, Dora Pettit, said she prayed for him before and after the case. “I think he’s an ordinary man that made a bad decision," she said. “I prayed for him and Stewart and the attorneys. I don’t have any ill feelings, and if they walked out tomorrow, so be it."
