Advertising partnership runs into the rocks
Calcutta News.Net Sunday 5th October, 2008
A controversial search advertising partnership between Yahoo and Google has been put on hold.
The companies have agreed to a delay in implementing their agreement so the companies can discuss the deal with US regulators.
The deal, which allows Google to sell advertising for some of Yahoo's online advertising space, is unpopular with advertisers who fear higher prices.
The Association of National Advertisers is known to be opposed to the Yahoo-Google pact.
