I-League football to start from Sept 26

The second edition of the I-League football tournament will start from Sep 26, it was decided by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) here Friday.
The I-League clubs and local organising committee of the AIFF met here and decided to postpone the league, scheduled for mid-september, on request from the Indian Football Association (IFA).
The IFA requested the AIFF to postpone the league by two weeks so that it could finish the Kolkata league. But the national body decided to push back the league by a week.
The committee, however, will meet again next week to decide the prize money and the fixture.
It was also decided that the Federation Cup will be played in the Delhi and Gurgaon from Dec 4-22.
