New Delhi, Aug 21(IANS) A 23-year-old married woman committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan of her east Delhi home, the police said Thursday.
According to police, "Jyoti, a resident of west Vinod Nagar area of Mandawali, was found hanging by her in-laws." She married one Mukesh, who works in a private company, a year ago.
The reason for suicide has not been established and no suicide note was recovered from the spot.
"She had written on her hand, 'Father please forgive me, I am committing suicide'," a senior police officer said. Further investigations are on.
