The Punjab police is looking for a youth from a village in this district who cut his father into pieces and then set the body parts on fire Tuesday night.
The victim, Baldev Singh, was brutally murdered by his son Sunny, 20, following a dispute over selling of land.
Police official Gurwinder Singh said the incident took place in Umraphul Phulewal village in this district late Tuesday night.
The police were called by villagers when they saw smoke coming out of the house of the victim around 3 a.m.
