Vegetable vendor held for raping minor in Delhi

A vegetable vendor was arrested Monday for allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl in east Delhi, the police said.
Iqbal Ahmad was arrested for raping the minor on the roof of his Krishna Nagar area house.
The girl had gone to buy vegetables from Ahma'd shop when she was raped. The victim came back to her home and narrated the incident to her mother, who informed the police.
The victim's father expired a few years ago and she lives with her mother and two brothers.
The police took her to the Swami Dayanand Hospital where the doctors confirmed the sexual attack.
