Heavy rains lash Shimla

Shimla and nearby areas in Himachal Pradesh experienced heavy rainfall Thursday.

With the city recording 80mm of rain in just 24 hours, various parts of Shimla wore a deserted look as tourists and locals kept themselves indoor. The rains further lowered the temperature.
