Multiple suicide attacks in Afghani mosque
Calcutta News.Net Thursday 17th April, 2008
A suicide attack near a mosque in western Afghanistan has killed 23 people and wounded 31, mostly civilians, including several children.
The attack took place in Zarang city, the capital of Nimruz province, as civilians and police forces were attending an evening prayer.
The police chief of Khashroad district and the border police chief of the province were among the dead.
The attack was apparently carried out by suicide bombers, in an area that was very crowded at the time of the blast.
The local governor said there were probably multiple suicide bombers as "one person couldn't carry enough explosive to cause such a big explosion".
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, but such attacks in the past have been carried out by Taliban insurgents, whose regime was ousted in late 2001 by the US-led invasion. Email this story to a friend

Another example of love and peace in Islam
Time to wake up that Islam is not a religion of peace or forgiveness. Anyone who is declared an enemy of Islam gets a death sentence. Look at poor Sir Ahmed Salman Rushdie. Women stoned to death for adultery, limbs cut off etc. Islam is a religion of intolerance. Lets hear someone defend that one.

once again
so they have shown once again how devoted they are to the people of afghanistan. by killing these people who were in a place of worship, they are showing how they want to make afghanistan a better place? and they want to run this country? the people need to stand up and fight back...turn them in to the authorities, the military...it seems that the taliban intend on killing evryone. as long as they have the slightest grip on this country, the goverment, the people will never have a chance to live a life that can be considered peaceful or normal by any standard....ANYONE who is aware of a member of the taliban and does nothing about it, is as guilty of spitting on this country as much as the taliban themsleves....
