Former Jaguar chiefs fight for the marque
Calcutta News.Net Sunday 12th August, 2007
Another former Ford Motor Co. executive has joined in the bidding for Ford's Jaguar and Land Rover brands.
It is reported that Sir Nick Scheele has joined NewYork-based Ripplewood Holdings in its bid for some of Ford’s current brands.
Scheele's involvement pits him against Jacques Nasser, who was Ford's chief executive from 1999 to 2001. Nasser is leading a separate bid.
Scheele was Ford's president and chief operating officer from 2001 until his retirement in 2005.
He also led Jaguar from 1992 to 1999.

Jacques Nasser would run the Company better than Scheele! It would return to a top to bottom company, rather than a top only company!
