Indian envoys to Guyana, Guatemala, Morocco named

India Wednesday named three new envoys for its missions to Guyana, Guatemala and Morocco.
Puran Mal Meena, who is a joint secretary in the external affairs ministry, has been appointed the next high commissioner of India to the south American country of Guyana, a ministry release said here.
Subrata Bhattacharjee, who is the deputy chief of mission in the Indian embassy in Cairo, has been appointed the next Indian ambassador to Guatemala in central America.
Krishan Kumar, a joint secretary in the ministry, has been appointed ambassador to the Morocco, the release said.
The three new envoys will take up their assignments shortly, it added.
