Occupy DC demonstrators have to decide how they will get around a new law which will stop them camping overnight at sites near the White House.

The National Park Service has decided to enact the restriction which provided for arrests and fines for so-called camping violations.

The park service notified the protesters on Friday that those in McPherson Square and nearby Freedom Plaza would need to comply with camping regulations.

It has called on protesters to remove all camping material from the sites in order to preserve "public health and safety."

CNN has reported that a man from the Oakland protest site was stun-gunned on Sunday as he walked away from US Park Police.

The man had allegedly been going from tent to tent removing notices posted by the National Park Service.
